10/14/11 – A Fort Atkinson man will spend ten days in jail for trying to smuggle contraband into the Fox Lake Correctional Center. Carl Wallace was caught in April trying to bring tobacco wrapped on pornography to an inmate. The 45-year-old pleaded “no contest” to misdemeanor Disorderly Conduct and Violating State Institution Laws. Wallace was placed on deferred prosecution on charge of Delivering Illegal Articles To An Inmate and will have the felony dropped if he stays out of trouble for the next two years.
