Fond Du Lac Woman Sentenced To Prison For Child’s Death

(Fond du Lac) A Fond du Lac woman was sentenced to just over two years in prison for killing her two-month-old child. Twenty-eight-year-old Shauntina Fuller-Pankey was given 796 days behind bars and 20 years of extended supervision on a First-Degree Reckless Homicide charge for the 2018 death of Rehloari Pankey-Brown.

The baby suffered a skull fracture and an autopsy found the cause of death was due to “blunt force injury” to the head while the family was staying in Fond du Lac.

State prosecutors say there is never enough prison time to adequately value the life of a child and find justice.
