Fond du Lac Teens Charged Following Chase In Stolen Beaver Dam Truck

(Waupun) A North Fond du Lac teen is accused of running from Waupun police in a stolen vehicle. Seventeen-year-old Kaden Solano is charged with felony Fleeing along with Operating A Vehicle Without Owners Consent. Waupun police ran the plates on the truck Saturday while on patrol and it came back as stolen from Beaver Dam. A brief chase followed that ended with four teenagers abandoning the truck and leaving the scene; they were later apprehended. One other teen, 18-year-old Tyler Rodgers of Fond du Lac, is facing felony vehicle theft charges. Two others were not charged because they were apparently unaware the truck was stolen. Rodgers and Solano allegedly admitted to investigators that they stole the truck from Beaver Dam and also confessed to the theft of a second vehicle. That car was taken in Fond du Lac and wound up in Beaver Dam Lake. The vehicle theft and fleeing charges each carry a three-and-a-half year prison sentence. Cash bond for Solano was set Monday at $3000 while Rodgers had cash bond set at $500.
