(Fond du Lac) A hunter needed to be rescued Saturday night after getting lost in the Eldorado Marsh. Around 7:20pm The Fond du Lac County Communications Center received a 911 call reporting that a person had become disoriented when he was fish hunting. The Communications Center was able to pinpoint his location through GPS coordinates from the 911 call. It showed that the lost hunter was approximately 1600 feet northeast from the dead end of Hageman Road. The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office along with the Wisconsin DNR arrived on scene and was able to establish phone contact with the hunter at 7:50pm and located him a short time later.
