Fond Du Lac Man Gets Life In Prison For 2017 Homicide

(Fond du Lac) A Fond du Lac man convicted of First-Degree Intentional Homicide was sentenced to life in prison Wednesday. Devon Neuman was also found guilty of Carrying a Concealed Weapon following a seven-day jury trial.

Neuman beat and shot the victim twice during a late-night scuffle in September of 2017. The 26-year-old left the deceased in an empty parking area where their remains were not discovered until the morning. Twenty-seven-year-old Jesse Schultz was also implicated in the crime.

Attorney General Josh Kaul thanked the Fond du Lac Police Department and those at the Department of Justice for their hard work bringing the defendant to justice.

Neuman is not eligible for extended supervision until he has served 31 years.
