(Fond du Lac) Fond du Lac County authorities are asking the public’s help in looking for the suspect involved in a 22-mile long pursuit over the weekend. On Saturday around 5:30pm, a sheriff’s deputy attempted a traffic stop at Rolling Meadows Drive and Rogersville Road in the city of Fond du Lac on a late 1990’s or early 2000’s Red Mitsubishi Galant. The vehicle increased its speed, disregarding the deputy’s emergency lights. The pursuit went north on Rolling Meadows and continued west to Highway 23, along several other town roads and county highways before coming onto Lamartine. Another deputy attempted to deploy tire deflation devices but was unsuccessful. The chase continued south on Highway Y through the Village of Oakfield. Another tire deflation device was set up near Mill Pond Road but was also unsuccessful. The pursuit was terminated as the suspect entered Dodge County. No injuries were reported and no property damage occurred. The sheriff’s office is asking the public for assistance in identifying the driver of the vehicle.
