Flags Half Staff Wednesday For Judge John Roemer

(Madison) The governor is ordering the flags to be flown at half-staff Wednesday in honor of Judge John Roemer (roamer). The retired Juneau County judge was murdered in his home last month. Governor Tony Evers says, “Judge Roemer’s contributions to his community and our state will not be forgotten as he leaves behind a legacy of dedicated, distinguished service that has already inspired so many.” Judge Wisconsin Supreme Court Chief Justice Annette Kingsland Ziegler called him a role model, both on and off the bench. Services for Judge Roemer will be held tomorrow in Mauston. He was 68-years-old.
