(Poynette) Governor Evers is ordering the US and Wisconsin flags to be flown at half-staff in honor of former Wisconsin Fire Inspector David Jerald Tomlinson Friday from sunrise to sunset, when private funeral services will be held. Tomlinson passed away on December 6 after contracting COVID-19 in the line of duty. He served as a volunteer firefighter for 31 years, and most recently served as a Fire Inspector. Before that, he worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 32 years and was a fixture in local youth sports. The governor says he is thankful for Tomlinson’s years of service, and sends his thoughts to family, friends, and the Poynette-Dekorra Fire Department.
Apologies, but there are no posts to display.
