10/8/11 – Quick action by the Fall River Fire Department yesterday afternoon stopped the spread of a fire in an apartment complex on Fox Trails in Fall River. Fire fighters were at the scene within minutes to evacuate tenants and knock down the flames. There were no injuries and only two of the eight townhouse units were damaged. Officials say the occupants of the two units damaged were not home at the time of the blaze. Firefighters from Fall River and Columbus were at the scene. The fire was called in at 1:30 pm and the cause and extent of the blaze are still under investigation.
