Rosendale-Brandon Considering Year-Round School
2/15/15 – Depending on what the Rosendale-Brandon School Board decides tomorrow night (Mon), kindergarten through fifth graders in the district could have the option of attending school year round. About 60 students are already signed up pending board approval. District Superintendent Gary Hansen says those students would attend school the same number of days as other students, but their days would be spread out over the year. The year round option could help battle the so-called “summer slide” when students in younger grades see a fall off in their learning.
