One Person Killed Another Arrested FOR OWI Following Multi-Vehicle Crash Near Horicon

(Horicon) One person is dead and another was arrested for OWI following a multi-vehicle crash near Horicon Tuesday night. The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office was called to County Highway E east from State Highway 26 around 6:30pm. The investigation revealed that a Chrysler Sedan had crossed the centerline, striking a Chevrolet Equinox. The Chrysler then struck a Ford Focus which had been traveling behind the Chevrolet. The driver of the Chrysler was flown from the scene with critical injuries while the operator of the Chevrolet was treated and released. The driver of the Ford was flown by MedFlight with critical injuries, two occupants in the rear were transported and released from a local hospital while the front passenger was killed. The operator of the Chrysler was arrested by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office for Operating a Motor Vehicle While under the Influence of an Intoxicant. No names have been released pending notification of family. The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office has requested the Wisconsin State Patrol to complete the crash investigation and a crash reconstruction.
