Fall Downtown Fest Is Saturday In Beaver Dam

(Beaver Dam) A fall celebration will be held in Beaver Dam on Saturday. Fall Downtown Fest, hosted by Downtown Beaver Dam Inc., will include a scavenger hunt, a pumpkin carving contest and wagon rides. Organizer Amanda Emery-Morris says there will be a new activity this year. She says trick or treating will be held from 10am to 3pm at numerous downtown businesses. Emery-Morris says kids should be encouraged to dress in Halloween costumes.

Joan Hohenstein with the Beaver Dam Community Activities and Services Department says the 200 block of Front Street will be blocked off from 10am to 3pm to accommodate multiple family-friendly activities. That includes a DJ, bouncy house, a ninja course and scratch art ornaments. Also slated for Saturday: a martial arts demonstration at 11am, Dance Now! Studies will be on hand at noon and the Swingin’ Beavers will perform at 1pm.
