Fairest Of The Fair Alexis Luedtke Creams Competition At Cream Puff Contest

(Beaver Dam) The 2021 Dodge County Fairest of the Fair was the big winner at the Cream Puff Eating Contest. Alexis Luedtke devoured the pastry in 44-seconds, quick enough to best fellow competitors including the 2010 Fairest of the Fair Danielle Hammer-Clark, 1990 Fairest of the Fair Angie Hafemeister-Molkentin and 1990 Dodge County Fire Queen Amy Nehls.

Luedtke was also fastest eater compared to all the other competitors in all rounds. That includes Dodge County Sheriff Dale Schmidt who this year got past District Attorney Kurt Klomberg with a time of one-minute and one-second.

Joann Lehman with Green Valley Enterprises won our Radiothon round defeating Susan Wallintin from Arc of Dodge County, Tom Heffron of the Beaver Dam Area Community Endowment and Angel Walk organizer Scott Smith.

4-H Leader Holly Schwartz had the best time among fellow 4-H colleagues including Penny Seaver, Jessica Rynearson and Mary Pat Boschert.

Army Recruiter James Kreklau edged Beaver Dam’s new Fire Chief Michael Wesle, Dodge County Veterans Service Officer Andy Miller and Beaver Dam Chamber Business of the Year recipient Jeff Nowicki  with Hometown Glass and Improvement.

And finally, State Representative Mark Born of Beaver Dam ambled to a winning finish of one-minute-and-28 seconds in beating State Senator John Jagler of Watertown and US Congressman Scott Fitzgerald of Juneau.
