Facilities Referendum Planned For Rosendale-Brandon School District

(Rosendale) Voters in the Rosendale-Brandon School District will be asked to approve a $30-million-dollar referendum in the spring election for a school building and facility improvement project. The exact amount of the bond issue would be $29.77-million which would pay for additions and renovations at Laconia High School that would accommodate middle school and high school students.

There would also be renovations at Brandon Middle School and Rosendale Intermediate School. District-wide safety, security, building infrastructure, capital maintenance and site improvements would also be made. If approved, the district would be able to reduce its buildings from four to three resulting in grades six through 12 at Laconia High School and 4K through fifth in Rosendale and Brandon.

Informational meetings will be scheduled over the next few months.
