(HARTFORD) An early morning industrial fire reportedly caused by an explosion leaves multiple people with burn injuries at Signicast in Hartford.
Fire crews received a call for the fire just before 6:00am Thursday, July 3.
Fire Chief Tony Burgard tells 620 WTMJ three people in total were burned. One person suffered severe injuries.
The fire has since been put out. It is not believed to have involved hazardous materials.
This is the second major incident in Hartford this week following a 19-car train derailment on Monday.
