Expert Will Discuss Bird Conservation During Upcoming Seminar

12/10/17 – The Horicon Marsh Bird Club is inviting citizens to an upcoming program on bird conservation. President of the Wisconsin Society for Ornithology Michael John Jaeger will discuss the long tradition of bird conservation in Wisconsin and present current challenges. John Jaeger studied ornithology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, focusing on marsh birds and shorebirds. The event is free and open to the public. It will be held on December 21 beginning at 7pm at the Horicon Marsh Education and Visitor Center located on Highway 28.
