TARGETS FOR TATAS
October 9 @ 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
The Beaver Dam Conservationists are sponsoring a Targets for TaTas trap tournament benefiting the Breast Health Center at Marshfield Medical Center-Beaver Dam. The event will be held on October 9, 2021 at the Beaver Dam Conservationists, Inc., which is located just west of the city of Beaver Dam on beautiful Beaver Dam Lake. The event is scheduled to run from 9am to 4pm with the last squad at 3:30pm. Classes will be based on number of entries and paid out 60/40 per class. It’s $25 for 50 pink targets, $5 high gun option and $5 25’s option.
The club offers many outdoor activities and is the home trap field for the 2021 Conference Champion Beaver Dam High School Trap Team. As you’re aware, breast cancer affects all of us in some way. It is the second most commonly diagnosed cancer in the United States, after skin cancer. Most importantly, breast cancer affects both men and women, and while uncommon in men, male breast cancer rates have been rising. Early detection is the key to survival and education efforts play a major role in getting the word out about the importance of self-breast exams and follow up imaging. The goal of this shoot is to provide a monetary donation to the local hospital to help fund breast health programs in Dodge County. Our goal is to provide a fund day of shooting along with informational booths and other items for shooters and non-shooters alike.
Donations, both monetary and products, from area businesses are being accepted to use as door prizes, bucket raffle gifts, or silent auction items. All donations will be recognized in our clubhouse, and will be listed as a sponsor on our club social media. If you have banners or promotional material to send, we will display those items as well.
If you have any questions or would like to take part, you may contact Kim Queisser at (920) 318-0098 or [email protected]
