Rock River Archaeological Program

The Rock River Archaeological Society is beginning to present programs again.  The first program of the series of once a month programs on the third Wednesday of the month, May to Sept. will be this month, May 18th.  Programs are at 7:00 pm, open to the public and FREE.  They are held at the Horicon Marsh Education and Visitor Center at N7725 Hwy. 28, Horicon , WI.

Program will be “A Quest for Trail Marker Trees.”  Trail Marker Trees were an ancient form of land and water navigational aids.  The trees were used by Native American Tribes, Fur Traders and early pioneers.
