On The Farm With Jerry Apps

September 19 @ 1:30 AM - 3:30 AM

free

You’ve seen him on Wisconsin Public Television as he presents his down-home stories of yesteryear and life on the Wisconsin farm. Now see him live online, as the Columbus Public Library presents author Jerry Apps for an afternoon of reminiscence and laughter.  Jerry will talk about his books, notably his most recent book, “The Land Still Lives,” which also happens to be his very first book, first published 50 years ago. He’ll also be stressing the importance of Telling Your Story, encouraging audience members to recall and record their own precious memories.

The event is free and will take place online.  The first 300 applicants will receive the link to the event.

To sign up, check the library’s web page or facebook page, where you will find a link to a Google document for you to provide your name and email address. (You may also leave a question for Jerry to answer!  He will get to as many as time allows.)  We will use your email address to send you the link to the event a day or two beforehand.  You don’t have to use a computer to view this event. A smartphone or tablet will work just as well.

Don’t miss this opportunity to enjoy a front-row seat in your own living room to hear this master storyteller work his magic.
