Eugene “Cowboy” Timm, Sr.

Eugene “Cowboy” Timm, Sr., age 87, of Beaver Dam, died Sunday, December 17, 2017 at Anchor Communities in Fox Lake.

 

A memorial gathering will be held for Eugene at Grace Presbyterian Church in Beaver Dam on Friday, December 22, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.  A Memorial service will follow with Rev. Chris Davis will officiating.

 

Eugene Fred Timm was born on June 7, 1930 in LaCrosse, Wisconsin to the late Fred and Emma (Schoennagle) Timm.  He served his country as a member of the US Air Force during the Korean War.  On April 7, 1962, he was united in marriage with Carol Hubbell in Milwaukee; she preceded him in death in November 1996.  In July 2005, Eugene was united in marriage with Carol Helt in Beaver Dam.  Cowboy loved his family and was a hard-working, dedicated employee as he worked as a machinist throughout his life.  He loved farming, anything western and enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing with his son-in-law, John.  Cowboy was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church.

 

Survivors include his wife, Carol Timm of Beaver Dam; four children, Eugene F. Timm, Jr. of Beaver Dam, Gail (John) Anderson) of Beaver Dam, Pamela “Barney” Timm of Milwaukee, and Sandra Timm of Beaver Dam; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two sisters, Marilyn Schwalbe and Gretchen Harris of LaCrosse; his mother-in-law, Madeline Helt of Richland Center; other relatives and friends.  Eugene was preceded in death by his parents; a baby sister, Julie; two brothers, Carl and Fred; and a sister, Patricia.
