Escape Charges Filed Against Milwaukee Woman Who Failed To Return To The Dodge County Jail

(Juneau) Felony escape charges were filed Friday against a Milwaukee woman who failed to return to the Dodge County Jail while released for a preapproved appointment. The Sheriff’s Office is searching for Huber inmate Tasheana Williams-Sonny who is serving a 365-day sentence for Resisting an Officer Causing Injury. On June 7th, jail staff realized that Williams-Sony had not returned from a scheduled appointment at a local health clinic. Law enforcement made numerous attempts to reach Williams-Sony by phone to no avail. According to the criminal complaint, Williams-Sony had left the jail on several different occasions for work events, court appearances and various doctor appointments but always returned to the facility at the proper time.  The 19-year-old’s last known address is on 38th Street in Milwaukee. The sheriff’s office is asking for any information to assist law enforcement in apprehending Williams-Sonny. If a person has information on Williams-Sonny’s whereabouts, they are asked not to make contact with her but instead contact the Sheriff’s Office at 920-386-3726 or your local law enforcement agency.
