Elisha Barudin Announces Bid For 39th Assembly District Seat

(Beaver Dam) A Town of Beaver Dam resident has announced a bid to represent the 39th Wisconsin State Assembly District. Elisha Barudin is running for the seat that has been held by Republican Mark Born since 2012. Barudin’s platform will focus on public education, protection of natural resources and ensuring all Wisconsin families have the opportunity to realize a high quality of life. She says the desire to improve lives and make a larger positive impact on the community is the reason she is running. Barudin has 20 years of experience as a human resource executive, serves on the board of the Beaver Dam Community Hospitals Foundation Inc., volunteers in several capacities with the Beaver Dam Area Community Theater, facilitated the newly organized Latino Network of Beaver Dam and has recently joined the Rotary Club. She says Wisconsin deserves elected officials who can be trusted to serve people over politics. Born tells us that he intends to run for re-election and plans to make an official campaign announcement later in May.
