(Beaver Dam) We will have election coverage tonight on AM1430 WBEV. The broadcast will include extensive coverage of the race for president along with key Senate and Congressional contests, a statewide look at pairings impacting Wisconsin and regular updates on races affecting the region.
That includes the results of the Beaver Dam Fire Department referendum seeking to add six new firefighters, along with referenda in both the townships of Shields and Clyman asking if the clerk and treasurer should be appointed positions.
We will also be keeping an eye on congressional races between incumbent Republican Glenn Grothman and former state senator, Jessica King and also the congressional race between Democrat Tom Palzewicz and Republican Scott Fitzgerald for the seat being vacated by Jim Sensenbrenner.
Among the contested Assembly races we will be tracking: the 39th District where Republican incumbent Mark Born is being challenged by Democrat Izzy Hassey Nevarez; the 37th District which sees incumbent Republican John Jagler facing Democrat Abigail Lowery and Independent candidate Stephen Ratzlaff Jr.; District 42, where Republican Jon Plumer is pitted against Democrat Melisa Arndt.
We will also be covering State Senate District 14 where Democrat Joni Anderson is challenging Republican incumbent Joan Ballweg. Our broadcast begins tonight at 6pm.
