Edward R. Paulus

Edward R. Paulus, 84, of Theresa passed away on Monday, June 17, 2019 at Hospice Home of Home in Fond du Lac with his family by his side.

Edward was born on December 4, 1934 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Milwaukee, the son of Clem and Evelyn Andrasczyk.  He was a 1954 graduate of Pulaski High School.  Edward was married to Shirley Junger on December 18, 1954 in Milwaukee.  For over 30 years, he was involved in the printing business.  He worked in ground maintenance for the village of Theresa.  Together with his wife, Edward owned and operated the Ye Olde Village Inn in Theresa.  Edward served his country in the U.S. Air Force with five years active duty and three years in the Reserves.

Edward was a member of the Theresa American Legion Post #270 for 42 years.  He was an active Lions Club member.  He was a member of the Theresa Fire Department and a former Village of Theresa board member.

Edward is survived by his wife, Shirley of Theresa; his children: Jim (Debra) Paulus of Ripon, Pam (Gene) Koll of Theresa, Dawn (Jeffrey) Guelig of Theresa, and Jackie (Carey) Jacak of Lomira; his grandchildren: Stephanie (Aaron) Cunningham, Kevin (Gretchen) Paulus, Katie (Michael) Noel, Ryan (Amber) Koll, Joshua (Samantha) Jacak, Jeremy Jacak, and Kayla Jacak; six great-grandchildren: Connor, Trevor, Jenna, Hazen, Mykah, and Ava; other relatives and friends.    He was preceded in death by his parents.

A celebration of life gathering will take place on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at the Koepsell Funeral Home in Mayville from 2:30 p.m. until 5 p.m.  At 5 p.m. Ron Moffett will give the eulogy and military honors conducted by the Theresa American Legion Post #270 will follow at the funeral home.  Inurnment will take place at the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum in Fond du Lac.
