EAA AirVenture Expecting Huge Turnout This Year

(Oshkosh) EAA AirVenture rebounded from the pandemic last year with 608,000 people attending, but the annual fly-in event in Oshkosh could have even more visitors later this month. Dick Knapinski of the EAA says there were still a number of international visitors who couldn’t travel last summer because of COVID so they had to skip AirVenture. He is also expecting to see even more people representing aviation and in particular the airlines to attend looking for pilots because of the pilot shortage. The 69th edition of AirVenture is July 25th through July 31st at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh.
