(Juneau) With winter officially upon us, the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is reminding motorists to clean their windows before driving home when parked outside.
According to Wisconsin State Statutes, no person shall drive any motor vehicle any sign, poster or other non-transparent material upon the front windshield, front side wings, side windows in the drivers compartment or rear window of such vehicle other than a certificate or other sticker issued by order of a governmental agency.
The law is in place to protect everyone using the roadways, so it is imperative that everyone has their windows on their cars reasonably defrosted and cleared of snow before driving.
