DPI releases Wisconsin School District Report Cards

(Beaver Dam) The state Department of Public Instruction has released their annual report cards for Wisconsin school districts. Public Instruction reports about 95-percent of Wisconsin school districts have exceeded – or significantly exceeded – expectations.

The Beaver Dam School District meets expectations with a three-star rating or an overall score of 62.4. That’s three-and-a-half points higher than last year’s report. The high school received a score of 89.2 for their on-track to graduate priority area. Overall performance scores at nearly all district sites saw increases from the previous rating year.

District Superintendent Mark DiStefano says the improvements they saw in so many areas are a positive reflection of the focus, talent, and commitment of their staff.
