(Beaver Dam) The group Downtown Beaver Dam Inc. is hosting an Open House today (Saturday) throughout all of downtown Beaver Dam. Many of the businesses and other points of interest will be open as part of the free event. After the Patriot Tour Launch, the public can check out the new Beaver Dam Area Community Theatre Fine Arts Center and right across Maple Street, the new Dodge County Center For The Arts, formerly the Beaver Dam Area Arts Association. The Dodge County Historical Society Museum will be open and Roger Noll will have his replica of the Monarch Range calliope that used to appear at events in Beaver Dam decades ago. The public can stop in at the Praise Assembly Church of God, check out hand-painted caskets at Northwoods Casket Company or take-in a sneak peak of the Ooga Brewing Company. Participants can get Patriot Passport that they can fill out at the various stops to be eligible for prizes. Downtown Beaver Dam Inc.’s downtown Open House kicks off at 10am with the Patriot Tour launch and runs until 4pm.
