Dorothy L. Wagner, age 97, of Beaver Dam, died Friday, February 1, 2019 at Randolph Health Services.
Visitation for Dorothy will be at St. Stephen’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. Funeral services will follow at the church on Tuesday beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Paul Stratman officiating. Burial will be at Hillside Cemetery in Columbus.
Dorothy Lucille was born on October 31, 1921 in Waukesha, Wisconsin to the late Frank C. and Laura (Brewer) Moll. On November 9, 1940, she was united in marriage with Fritz Wagner in Waukesha. Dorothy worked for several years at Dr. Prommer’s Medical Office while raising her son. She served as President of the Soat-Vergenz VFW Auxiliary#721 in Waukesha from July 1977 to June 1978. Dorothy was a member of St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam and was an honorary member of the Ladies Aid.
Survivors include her sister, Jean Kewer of Stevens Point; six grandchildren, Dennis (Teresa) Wagner of San Antonio, TX, Traci (Doug) Witcher and Patrick Wagner, both of Birmingham, AL, Jane Fraser of Beaver Dam, Bryan Fraser of Chicago, IL, and Christopher Fraser of Port Washington; 10 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren other relatives and friends. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her son, Gerald Wagner in 2018; a great grandson, Logan Tippett; her brother, Donald Moll; and a niece, Donna Leiseman.
