Don’t Bring Explosives into the Police Station

9/7/12 – Beaver Dam police are asking the public not to bring explosives to the police station. Deputy Chief Dan Schubert says a resident came to the station Wednesday afternoon with an ammunition canister containing military shells and what turned out to be a live World War Two grenade. The Milwaukee County Bomb Squad was called in to dispose of the live grenade. Shubert is urging the public to call law enforcement before transporting, or even touching, any suspected explosives.
