Donations Sought During Beaver Dam’s Red Kettle Concert

(Beaver Dam) The Noon Kiwanis Club of Beaver Dam will be looking to collect donations during Sunday’s 10th Annual Red Kettle Concert. The event is free, but patrons are encouraged to donate to the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign. During a recent community comment, Co-Chair Rhonda Steiner said there will be plenty of entertainment to enjoy at this year’s concert.

“This year the churches performing are Trinity United Methodist, our church, will be there, as well as Grace Presbyterian will be there,” says Steiner. “Those two churches along with the Kiwanis choir, that’s directed by Judy Hein, Judy forms this choir strictly for this concert, and they do a do a great job every year. Those three large ensembles will be performing.”

Steiner says there will also be an opportunity for the community to perform in what is called an ecumenical choir. Rehearsals take place at 7pm at Trinity United Methodist Church on Oneida St. in Beaver Dam.

The Kiwanis will also be collecting donations to benefit the Salvation Army and local families in need. The concert will start at 4:30pm on Sunday, December 4th at the Beaver Dam High School Auditorium.
