Dodge County’s COVID Test Site Open Additional Three Weeks

(Beaver Dam) Dodge County’s free walk-in COVID test site will be operational for three more weeks. The site, located at 1701 North Spring Street in Beaver dam, was originally staffed by the Wisconsin National Guard through December 8th which was then extended to the 15th. Dodge County health officials say the facility has offered PCR lab testing each Wednesday from 11am to 5pm. Starting next Tuesday, the site will be staffed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. This will continue until January 5th. There is no change in the site’s hours of operation. Health officials say the National Guard will have its resources reallocated to other efforts in the state after January 8th. The Dodge County Health Department is working towards staffing the building, owned by Marshfield Medical Center – Beaver Dam, after support from the National Guard has ended. Officials say any new updates will be shared with the public once they know more. No appointments are required for testing but the public is asked to pre-register before they arrive.
