(Beaver Dam) Dodge County’s free walk-in COVID test site will be operational for two more weeks. The site, located at 1701 North Spring Street in Beaver dam, was originally staffed by the Wisconsin National Guard through January 5th which was then extended to the 26th.
The State Guard are being redeployed to assist with staffing shortages at area healthcare facilities. County health officials say they were recently notified of a modification to those orders allowing for continued operations at the Beaver Dam clinic.
This extension includes this upcoming Tuesday, January 11th, and will continue every Tuesday and Wednesday ending at 5pm on Wednesday, January 26th. Hours will remain the same, from 11am to 5pm.
Anyone tested at the Beaver Dam Community Test Site will be notified of their results by email or phone call. A hotline, provided by the state health department, is available for anyone that has not received their results in four days. That number is 866-419-6988.
No appointments are required for testing but the public is asked to pre-register before they arrive. Click HERE to do so.
