(Juneau) The Dodge County Treasurer’s Office is reminding residents that the deadline for their second installment tax payments is approaching. County Treasurer Kris Keith says there are three ways to pay.
Option one is by mail. Citizens can make out their envelopes to the Dodge County Treasurer at 127 East Oak Street in Juneau. They must include a self-addressed and stamped envelope with payment for a receipt. It is recommended to mail payments at least seven days prior to the due to date to ensure on-time delivery. The second installments must have a July postmark to be timely. Keith says residents can drop off their payments at the Administration Building. She notes that currently all entrances into the building are locked except for the doors on Miller Street. Hours are 8am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday.
Lastly, payments can be made with a credit or debit card online (www.co.dodge.wi.gov) or by calling 800-272-9829 with the jurisdiction code #5936. Keith says there is a fee of $3 for e-check or a two-point-nine-percent charge (2.99%) with the use of a debit or credit card. The due date for second installment property taxes is Wednesday, July 31st.
