(Juneau) The Dodge County Treasurer’s Office is encouraging residents to get their second installment tax payments in. County Treasurer Patty Hilker says there are several ways to pay.
Option one is by mail. Citizens can make out their envelopes to the Dodge County Treasurer at 127 East Oak Street in Juneau. They must include a self-addressed and stamped envelope with payment for a receipt. The US Postal Service recommends mailing first class mail at least seven days prior to the due date. Second installment payments must have a July postmark date to be considered timely.
Hilker says residents can drop off their payments at the Administration Building in person. She notes that currently all entrances into the building are locked expect for the doors on Miller Street.
Lastly, payments can be made with a credit or debit card online, at www.co.dodge.wi.gov, or by calling 800-272-9829 with the jurisdiction code #5936. Hilker says there is a fee of $2.90 for e-check or a two-point-nine-percent charge (2.99%) with the use of a debit or credit card.
The due date for second installment property taxes is Sunday, July 31st.
