(Juneau) Details of a major drug arrest is being made available to the public after a joint effort by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office, Beaver Dam Police Department, and Juneau Police Department, led by the Dodge County Drug Enforcement Unit resulted in the seizure of drugs and cash from a residence in Juneau. Authorities conducted a search warrant Tuesday at 422 S. Fairfield Avenue Apt#1 in Juneau. As a result of the search, 4.9 pounds of methamphetamine, 2.1 pounds of marijuana, and $51,907 in alleged drug money was recovered. Three individuals have been arrested in connection to the search including Francisco Javier Gonzales, Age 40 of Juneau; Kaila Brenholt, age 34 of Juneau; and Raul De La Garza, age 51 of Beaver Dam. Investigations have revealed drug ties directly back to the Mexican drug cartels, with Sheriff Dale Schmidt noting that drugs are moving to Dodge County and all of Wisconsin in quantities and frequency never seen before. Thus, creating deadly consequences for our community, the Sheriff adds it will be an uphill battle, but the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is committed to holding drug dealers accountable.
