Dodge County See’s Arctic Temperatures Friday

(Dodge County) Artic air and dangerous wind chill values swept through the Dodge County area Friday. Temperatures dropped to nearly double digits in the negative with reported wind chills reaching the negative thirties.

According to the national weather service, wind speeds were in the 30-to-40-mile-per-hour range. Meteorologists say the Christmas Eve forecast includes patchy blowing snow with a high near seven-degrees with wind chill values between negative 15 and negative 25.

Throughout the day, high winds are expected at times with a westerly wind at 25-miles-per-hour and gusts up to 45-miles-per-hour.
