Dodge County Schools Recognized By The DPI

(Beaver Dam) Three local school districts have been recognized by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. DPI recently released its Wisconsin Schools of Recognition honors for the 2023-2024 school year.

The awards celebrate the efforts of students, school staff, and families in ensuring educational success for all students.

The Beaver Dam School District was named a High Impact School, along with Watertown School District. High Impact Schools serve a high percentage of economically disadvantaged students. DPI officials say these schools have above-average achievement when compared to similar schools.

The School District of Lomira was named a High Achieving School which means they ranked in the top ten-percent statewide for academic achievement in reading and mathematics.

The Schools of Recognition Program first launched in 2003 and singles out Title I schools for making significant strides in student growth and achievement.
