Dodge County Reports Three Coronavirus Deaths

(Dodge County) Wisconsin health officials are reporting 4,062 positive coronavirus cases in Saturday’s daily update. There are 39,806 active cases in the state, an increase of 643 people from Friday. Active cases make up 20.5-percent of the 195-thousand people who have tested positive to date. So far, there have been 153-thousand recoveries.

State health officials recorded 25 deaths, bringing that total to 1,770. Deaths account for point-nine-percent (0.9) of all cases in Wisconsin while 5.3-percent of those known to have contracted the virus needed to be hospitalized. Of the over one-million people who have died worldwide, the CDC says 223-thousand were from the United States.

Dodge County had three more deaths added to the totals with 27 deaths now on record and 3,672 cases, an increase of 199 people from Friday. The county had 272 negative tests returned for a running total of 27,913. As of Friday, Public health officials in Dodge County were actively monitoring 1,025 people while 1,903 have recovered.

Washington County has experienced 43 deaths and 4,198 cases, an increase of 122 cases. Fond du Lac County has 4,126 positive tests on record, an increase of 173 people, and 19 deaths. Jefferson County has reported 10 deaths and 2,545 cases to date, a one-day increase of 99 people. There have been five deaths in Columbia County where there have been 1,652 total cases. Green Lake County has two deaths and has 692 cases on record.
