(Juneau) Those needing the services of the Dodge County Register of Deeds office will see limited hours for most of the month. Registrar Chris Planasch says the changes to in-person services are temporary. Starting this week, those needing vital records, like copies of birth and marriage certificates, will have limited in-person hours of 1pm to 4pm Tuesdays and Thursday only. Planasch asks that appointments be made prior to arrival. The Registers office will still be available during normal hours – weekdays 8am until 4:30pm – to conduct business by phone or email. The changes will remain in effect for three weeks, through Friday October 23. Planasch says she recognizes the limitation on in-person availability may create an inconvenience and says everyone’s patience and understanding is appreciated.
