Dodge County Records Tenth COVID-19 Death

(Dodge County) Wisconsin health officials are reporting 1,672 positive coronavirus cases in Tuesday’s daily update, which is 13.3-percent of the 12,500 tests announced. There are 14,770 active cases in the state, an increase of 356 from Monday. Active cases make up 14.2-percent of the 104-thousand people who have tested positive to date. So far, there have been 88-thousand recoveries.

State health officials recorded seven deaths Tuesday, for a total of 1,251. Deaths accounted for 1.2-percent of all cases in Wisconsin while 6.5-percent of those known to have contracted the virus needed to be hospitalized. Nationwide, the CDC says there have been 199-thousand deaths while the worldwide death toll is widely reported to be around 967-thousand.

Dodge County reported a 10th death on Tuesday and 1,653 cases, an increase of 27 from Monday. The county had 123 negative tests returned for a running total of 21,868. Public health officials in Dodge County are actively monitoring 290 people while 985 have recovered.

Washington County has experienced 32 deaths along 2,324 cases, a one-day increase of 56.

Fond du Lac County has 1,799 positive tests on record along with 13 deaths.

Jefferson County has reported seven deaths and 1,243 cases to date.

There have been two deaths in Columbia County where there have been 531 cases.

Green Lake County now has 212 cases.
