Dodge County Records Six Coronavirus Deaths Thursday

(Dodge County) Wisconsin health officials are reporting 6,635 positive coronavirus cases in Thursday’s daily update. There are 75,580 active cases in the state, an increase of 964 from Wednesday. Active cases make up 22.3-percent of the 338-thousand people who have tested positive to date. So far, there have been 259-thousand recoveries.

State health officials recorded 83 deaths, bringing that total to 2,876. Deaths account for point-eight-percent of all cases in Wisconsin while 4.5-percent of those known to have contracted the virus needed to be hospitalized. Of the over one-million people who have died worldwide, the CDC says 249-thousand people were from the United States.

Dodge County recorded six deaths Thursday for a total of 65 with 7,377 cases, a one-day increase of 275. The county had 332 negative tests returned for a running total of 32,055. Public health officials in Dodge County are actively monitoring 1,168 people while 4,612 have recovered.

Washington County has now reported a total of 62 deaths along with 7,546 cases; with 2,278 being active cases.

Fond du Lac County tallied three deaths Thursday and is now reporting 38 total deaths with 7,612 positive tests on record; 1,695 are active cases.

Jefferson County has recorded 33 deaths and 4,621 cases to date; 1,287 cases were reported in the last two weeks.

There have been 10 deaths in Columbia County where there have been 2,917 total cases; currently the county has 897 active cases.

Green Lake County has logged five deaths and has 1,086 cases on record, with 200 cases reported in the last two weeks.
