Dodge County Records Nineteenth COVID-19 Death

(Dodge County) Wisconsin health officials are reporting 1,865 positive coronavirus cases in Sunday’s daily update. There are 24,264 active cases in the state, an increase of 229 from Saturday. Active cases make up 18.3-percent of the 132-thousand people who have tested positive to date. So far, there have been 107-thousand recoveries.

State health officials recorded five deaths Sunday, for a total of 1,377. Deaths accounted for one-percent of all cases in Wisconsin while 5.8-percent of those known to have contracted the virus. Over the 1-million people who have died worldwide, the CDC says 208-thousand people were from the US.

Dodge County now has 19 deaths on record and 2,178 cases, an increase of 41 from Saturday. The county had 188 negative tests returned for a running total of 24,059.

Washington County has experienced 35 deaths along with 2,916 cases.

Fond du Lac County has 2,455 positive tests on record along with 14 deaths.

Jefferson County is reporting eight deaths and 1,651 cases to date.

There have been three deaths in Columbia County where there have been 825 cases.

Green Lake County now has 353 cases.
