(Juneau) The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is among 24 agencies statewide receiving grant funds to replace outdated equipment. The Wisconsin Office of Emergency Operations is administering $2.1-million-dollars to help facilitate upgrading the equipment to be Next Generation 9-1-1 capable. Dodge County Sheriff Dale Schmidt says in 20221 the radio equipment in their dispatch center will no longer be supported by Motorola. The sheriff’s office is receiving nearly $110-thousand-dollars.
