(Juneau) The percentage of weekly positive COVID-19 tests remained steady over the last two weeks but at a concerning level for health officials. That is according to the latest weekly update from the Dodge County Health Department which says from December 14th through the 20th, 36-percent of 935 tests administered were positive. The previous week the rate was 35-percent. Health officials say the goal is a percentage lower than five with a downward trajectory of cases. Achieving those figures would allow Dodge County to move out of phase-one of its three-phase Safe Restart Plan, which recommends guidelines for businesses, social gatherings and community events. The number of cases and hospital space remain in the red while contact tracing is in the yellow. The only metrics of the plan in the green are testing personal protective equipment.
