(Dodge County) Wisconsin health officials are reporting 539 cases of COVID-19 in Thursday’s daily update. The seven-day average is 502 daily infections. There are 29,738 people now having tested positive. Four-point-two-percent (4.2%) of the 12,300 tests administered came back positive Thursday, compared to 4.3-percent Wednesday. State health officials recorded seven more deaths bringing that number to 793. Deaths accounted for three-percent of all cases in Wisconsin while 12-percent of those known to have contracted the virus needed to be hospitalized.
Dodge County has five deaths on record and 467 cases, an increase of six from Wednesday. The county had 149 negative tests returned for a running total of 10,797. Public health officials in Dodge County are actively monitoring 27 people while 210 have recovered.
Washington County has recorded 16 deaths and has 395 cases.
Fond du Lac County has six deaths on record and 314 positive tests to date.
Jefferson County has four deaths and 257 cases.
There has been one death in Columbia County where there are 89 positive cases.
Green Lake County now has 34 cases.
