Dodge County Officials To Hold Active Shooter Exercise Monday

(Juneau) Several Dodge County administrative offices and buildings will be closed Monday for an active shooter exercise. The Dodge County Emergency Management Department is coordinating with members of the first response community to conduct the full-scale exercise. Emergency Management Director Amy Nehls says this event will test our ability to work together to manage the response and recovery phases of an active shooter incident. The county building and employees that will be participating are the Dodge County Courthouse from 8am to noon, the Henry Dodge Office Building from 1pm to 2pm, the Dodge County Highway Department from 2pm to 3pm, and the Dodge County Administration Building from 3pm to 4:30pm. Nehls encourages anyone with business to be conducted at one of these locations to plan accordingly with normal operations being suspended at each building during the drill. She says the county website will have a notice of the exercise posted. More information can be obtained by contacting Nehls. Her office number is 920-386-3999 and her cell number is 920-210-0712.
