Dodge County Officials Highlighting Main Street Bounceback Grant

(Juneau) Dodge County officials are highlighting a grant program that provides financial support to businesses that move into existing vacant commercial properties. The Main Street Bounceback Program is a $10,000 grant available to companies as well as non-profits moving into vacant properties in Wisconsin’s downtowns and commercial corridors. Funds can be used to pay leases or mortgages, operational expenses and other business costs related to the newly opened location. New or existing businesses opening a new location or expanding operations as of January 1st, 2021, can apply for the grant. Those applying must also certify that they have not or will not vacate a commercial space in the state. Businesses that are part of a national or regional chain and firms intending to hold the property for investment purposes are ineligible. Grant funds are available as part of the American Recovery Plan Act and will be distributed by the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation’s regional partners. Businesses must apply through their regional partners. Madison Region Economic Partnership Jason Fields. Call 608-571-0408 or email [email protected]
