Dodge County Now Has 21 COVID-19 Deaths

(Dodge County) Wisconsin health officials are reporting yet another record of 3,861 positive coronavirus cases in Friday’s daily update. There are 34,345 active cases in the state, an increase of 1,185 from Thursday. Active cases make up 20.7-percent of the 166-thousand people who have tested positive to date. So far, there have been 130-thousand recoveries.

State health officials recorded 21 deaths, for a total of 1,574. Deaths accounted for point-nine-percent of all cases in Wisconsin while 5.4-percent of those known to have contracted the virus needed to be hospitalized. Of the over one-million people who have died worldwide, the CDC says 216-thousand people were from the United States.

Dodge County has now recorded 21 deaths and 2,891 cases, an increase of 85 from Thursday. The county had 275 negative tests returned for a running total of 25,635. Public health officials in Dodge County are actively monitoring 848 people while 1,536 have recovered.

Washington County has experienced 40 deaths and 3,648 cases, there are currently 840 active cases.

Fond du Lac County has 3,375 positive tests on record, with 1,084 being active cases, and 17 deaths.

Jefferson County has reported nine deaths and 2,131 cases to date, 462 are active cases.

There have been four deaths in Columbia County where there have been 1,321 total cases, currently the county has 431 active cases.

Green Lake County has two deaths and has 536 cases on record, 213 were reported in the last two weeks.
