Dodge County Master Gardener Association Hosting Fall Symposium

(Juneau) The Dodge County Master Gardener Association will be hosting their eighth annual “Gardening for Gold Fall Symposium.” During this event, regional and local speakers will be sharing their gardening knowledge with gardeners of all levels.

Some of the speakers include Natural Resource Educator at the Horicon Marsh Liz Herzmann, who will be sharing the ways to attract more wildlife to your landscape. Dane County Horticulture Educator Lisa Johnson will also be speaking. She will be teaching those in attendance how to manage runoff and attract pollinators at the same time by building a rain garden.

A taco bar lunch will be included, along with a silent auction featuring items that will interest gardeners and non-gardeners alike.

The symposium will take place on November 5th at the Horicon Marsh Educational Center located at Highway 28 between Horicon and Mayville. The deadline to register is October 15th, there is limited seating.
